Teknor Apex seeks a motivated FP&A intern to join its corporate team in Rhode Island. You will assist budgeting, forecasting, and monthly financial reporting, while building Power BI dashboards and performing analyses to support decision making.

Qualifications

• Current junior or senior in a Bachelor's degree program in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Eagerness to learn and contribute to the success of the FP&A team.
• Collaborative team player.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, advanced functions is preferred.
• Experience or coursework in Power BI or other platform for data visualization and reporting is preferred.
• Experience with financial reporting tools, ERP systems or data visualization platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support budgeting and forecasting processes, including the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting.
• Help track and report on KPIs, comparing actual performance to budgeted or forecasted results.
• Develop, maintain and enhance PowerBI dashboards to visualize financial data, track business performance, and improve reporting efficiency.
• Perform both routine and ad-hoc analyses to support business strategies and operational initiatives.
• Provide analytical support for benchmarking performance, taking into consideration key industry trends, competitor activity, and relevant economic factors.
• Support the team with other financial tasks, such as data reconciliation, presentations, and process improvements.
