Job summary

HNTB Corporation is seeking current/former interns for a part-time/co-op position to support construction services teams. You will assist with office tasks, attend project meetings, observe on-site testing, and help ensure conformance with plans and specifications.

The role involves basic research, data collection, reading drawings, and contributing to special projects as directed. Visa sponsorship is not available; locations include numerous U.S. cities and TX entries like El Paso.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent plus current enrollment in a post-secondary construction program.
• Completion of 2 years of post-secondary construction program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists with construction office tasks including taking meeting minutes and processing tracking logs.
• Attends and observes meetings with internal and external project teams.
• Observes on-site material testing and may assist with basic shop drawing review for plan/spec compliance.
• Conducts basic research and data collection.
• Reads construction drawings and provides feedback as requested.
• Assists on portions of special projects as directed.
