Job summary

Weston & Sampson is seeking a Spring 2027 Co-op Civil/Environmental Engineer based in Reading, MA. You will assist the engineering staff in civil and environmental projects, including water and wastewater tasks, with occasional field work across Massachusetts.

The program runs January–May as a full-time co-op/intern in Reading, MA, with some statewide site visits. Ideal candidates are enrolled in a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, with 2 years of coursework preferred, and

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related engineering field
• Two years of coursework preferred
• Must have strong interpersonal, verbal and written skills
• Work effectively in a team environment
• Ability to organize, manage and coordinate multiple assignments
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Introductory knowledge of AutoCAD, GIS, and/or HydroCAD preferred
• Must have a valid driver’s license

Salary Range: $22.00 To $26.00 Hourly

Weston & Sampson is seeking an engineering student for our Spring 2026 full-time Co-Op/Intern program running from January - May. You will be working within one discipline but will be introduced to a variety of areas: civil, environmental, water, and wastewater. This position will be located in Reading, MA with occasional field work around the state.
