Ideal candidates study Chemistry or Pharmaceutical Sciences, have coursework in Analytical/Physical Chemistry or Spectroscopy, and can commit to full-time, in-office work for 40 hours

Qualifications

• Chemistry or Pharmaceutical Sciences majors preferred; coursework in Analytical Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, or Spectroscopy required/considered.
• Available to work for the full calendar year and graduate between December 2027 and May 2028.
• Authorized to work in the United States and no sponsorship needed in the future.
• Richmond, VA in-office presence 4-5 days per week; 40 hours/week.

Responsibilities

• Handle and analyze semi-solid and solution-based drug products using standard pharmaceutical practices.
• Learn and operate specialized analytical instrumentation (rheology, IVRT, LC) and analyze data.
• Prepare reports and communicate findings; perform basic statistics to evaluate formulation performance.
• Collaborate with scientists to support method development, evaluation, and validation activities.
