Qualifications

• Currently enrolled undergraduate/graduate student in good standing.
• Enrollment for duration of co-op.
• GPA 3.0+ preferred.
• Major/minor in related field.
• Undergraduates must have completed at least 12 credit hours.
• Graduates must have completed at least 9 credit hours.

Responsibilities

• Scale the existing assignment engine into a robust, user-facing app analysts can run independently.
• Predict IR band positions for pharmaceutical solids using structure-based and ML approaches.
• Explore ML and cheminformatics to improve assignment accuracy.
• Implement deterministic execution: validation, logging, version tagging, and audit-friendly output.
• Automate generation of review-ready IR assignment reports.
• Build an integrated pipeline from structure to reports and automatic outputs.
• Present progress and results in meetings and internal reports as appropriate.
