Job summary

Regeneron Pharmaceuticals is seeking multiple 2027 Co-ops in Viral Vector Process Development to join our Viral Production Core within PMPD. These on-site, full-time positions in Tarrytown, NY, offer hands-on experience developing upstream/downstream processes for AAV production and purification.

You will optimize cell culture conditions, develop high-throughput purification workflows, build predictive models, and present findings to the team.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an academic program pursuing an Undergraduate or Graduate degree and returning to school after.
• Must be able to commit to 40 hours per week during January–August, May/June–December, or August–December.
• Demonstrated leadership in activities, clubs, sports, work or community preferred.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support development of upstream and downstream processes for AAV production and purification.
• Optimize cell culture conditions to improve viral production.
• Develop high-throughput purification workflows for viral vectors.
• Build models to predict and improve separation performance.
• Conduct wet-lab experiments and analyze data generated.
• Collaborate with scientists across upstream and downstream teams.
• Document procedures and results of experiments.
• Present progress and findings to the broader team.
