Zusammenfassung

Goddard Riverside is seeking a Substance Use Specialist to join the ACT Team in New York, NY. The role focuses on counseling, case management, and daily support for substance use and co-occurring issues within a multidisciplinary team.

A Master’s in Social Work is required, with CASAC preferred, and experience with trauma-informed care and motivational interviewing is highly valued. You will work Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm across Manhattan locations, providing integrated services, attendance

Qualifikationen

Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field is required.
Experience with individuals with serious mental illness and co-occurring SUD.
Knowledge of harm reduction and trauma-informed care.
Training in integrated mental health and substance use services.

Aufgaben

Plan, lead and document Co-Occurring Disorder (CoD) group activities.
Carry a caseload of ACT clients and perform assessments.
Participate in staff meetings, case conferences, and trainings.
Collaborate with ACT team and other service providers; travel as needed.
