Job summary

Goddard Riverside's Young Adult ACT Team in New York City is seeking a Substance Use Specialist to provide counseling, case management and daily support for clients with co-occurring disorders. The role operates within an ACT team serving adults aged 18-28 in Manhattan, with schedule Monday-Friday 9am–5pm and a salary range of $56,000–$65,000.

Ideal candidates hold a Master's in social work or LMHC, with CASAC preferred, and experience addressing substance use within integrated mental health

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work or LMHC.
• CASAC preferred.
• Experience with serious mental illness and co-occurring substance use disorders.

Responsibilities

• Substance Abuse Services: plan, lead and document activities for Co-Occurring Disorder (COD).
• Provide case management: carry a caseload, assessments, goals, referrals, accompany clients.
• Participate as an ACT team member: attend meetings, supervision, team collaboration.
• Other duties as required.
