Diesel Barbershop in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Co-Manager who leads by example behind the chair while supporting shop operations, team development, and culture. You will deliver top-notch men's cuts, fades, and shaves, supervise scheduling, training, and standards, and help drive customer satisfaction in a high-energy, team-based environment.

Ideal candidate is a licensed barber or cosmetologist with leadership experience, strong client service skills, and a commitment to Diesel standards.

Qualifications

• Licensed Barber or Cosmetologist (Texas).
• At least 3 years of experience as a licensed Barber or Cosmetologist.
• At least 1 year of leadership experience.
• Strong technical skills with men's cuts, fades, and razor work.
• Natural leader with integrity, reliability, and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Deliver top-notch men's haircuts, fades, beard trims, and shaves.
• Provide consistent consultations and exceptional client service.
• Maintain a clean, professional workstation.
• Build strong client relationships and drive repeat business.
• Lead scheduling staff and ensure proper coverage.
• Support interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training new team members.
• Coach the team on performance metrics (rebooking, average ticket, services per hour, retail, service time).
• Reinforce Diesel standards and procedures (service steps, appearance guidelines, cash handling, phone etiquette, appointments).
• Handle client concerns calmly and professionally.
• Assist with cash drawer accuracy, deposits, and end-of-day procedures.
• Help keep the shop clean and organized.

The Role

We're looking for a strong barber or stylist who leads by example. As a Manager, you'll spend most of your time behind the chair while also supporting shop operations, team development, and culture.

What You’ll Do

Behind the Chair

What We’re Looking For
