Job summary

Qualifications
- Massachusetts Third Class Stationary Engineer License (or higher).
- 1–2 years of modern power plant experience.
- Knowledge of safe practices around 13,800-volt systems and rotating equipment.
- Experience with refrigeration, condensers and turbine-driven equipment.
- Ability to work rotating shifts.
Responsibilities
- Produce steam, power, electrical power and refrigeration.
- Perform repairs to mechanical, electrical and distribution systems.
- Operate high pressure steam boilers with auxiliary equipment.
- Operate steam turbine generators, condensers and related auxiliaries; log observations.
- Monitor power demand and adjust for power factor, frequency and voltage.
- Operate UPS and normal distribution systems and emergency power from standby diesel generator.
- Operate cooling tower and associated fans.
- Perform preventive maintenance and inspections of plant equipment and instrumentation.
