Co-Founder/CEO - AI-Powered Private Equity Sourcing Platform

Laminar Labs is an AI Agent Venture Lab building high-impact, verticalized AI businesses. We're currently seeking a world-class Co-Founder & CEO for our newest venture: a cutting-edge sourcing and automation platform designed specifically for private equity firms, family offices, and entrepreneurs executing roll-up strategies in fragmented industries.

This is an opportunity to lead a transformative AI company from inception — with full technical and back-office support from the Laminar Labs team.

NOTE: This is not a salaried position within Laminar Labs. This role is for cofounder of a portfolio company.

About the Venture

Our AI platform automates and optimizes deal sourcing for roll-up strategies, helping PE firms identify, qualify, and prioritize off-market acquisition targets with unprecedented speed and precision. Leveraging real-time data aggregation, multi-parameter filters (e.g., founder age, business maturity, sentiment scoring), and workflow automation, this venture unlocks scalable sourcing of off-market businesses.

We’ve built the early tech, validated the problem, and now need the right domain expert to lead and scale.

Who We’re Looking For

We're seeking a highly credible operator and commercial leader with:

• 7+ years in private equity, M&A advisory, investment banking, or a roll-up operator role.
• Strong U.S. network of private equity firms, family offices, deal intermediaries, or service providers.
• A track record of origination, deal execution, or operational scaling in a buy-and-build environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, define vision, and close commercial partnerships.
• Ideally some experience with sourcing tech, data platforms, or B2B SaaS distribution (not essential).

You must be commercially aggressive, extremely well-connected, and excited by the potential to use AI to solve an expensive and painful sourcing problem in the PE ecosystem.

Your Role

As Co-Founder & CEO, you will:

• Own the commercial strategy, customer relationships, and go-to-market execution.
• Shape and validate the product roadmap in collaboration with Laminar Labs’ technical team.
• Build and lead a high-caliber sales team as the company scales.
• Represent the company publicly and drive its growth narrative.
• The role is open to part-time and full-time founders.
