WeVote is a movement of over 100 passionate volunteers (starting with the founders) who are building open-source mobile technologies that touch and mobilize millions of voters on Election Day. We are a 100% volunteer and remote organization.
Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Co-Chief Operating Officer (COO) will have overall strategic responsibility for tracking and facilitating WeVote's programs, expansion, and execution of its mission. Operational responsibility will be shared with other senior leaders. The role requires developing deep knowledge of our programs, operations, and business plans.
This is a volunteer position requiring at least 10-20 hours per week, mostly during work hours. We are exploring distributing the COO role among multiple individuals to focus on areas of specialization, emphasizing flexibility and a team-first approach.
Submit your resume and a brief note/cover letter explaining your interest in WeVote and our mission. Include information about yourself and questions you may have. We will consider initial video meetings. Remote applicants within 3 US time zones are welcome. We aim to respond within 5 business days.
