Job summary

Neurocrine Biosciences is seeking a Senior Medical Affairs professional to engage KOLs and healthcare decision makers, delivering scientific and pharmacoeconomic presentations and supporting sponsor-initiated research. The role covers a multi-state territory including MO, KS, OK, IA, NE, WY, ND, SD and MN, with emphasis on CNS-related expertise.

The ideal candidate will have psych/neuro experience, and a strong background in scientific communication, outcomes data, and regulatory compliance,

Qualifications

• PharmD or PhD in a health science field AND 4+ years of experience in a field-based position; or MD/DO with 2+ years of related experience.
• Demonstrates broad expertise and may have external presence in area of expertise.
• Knowledge of healthcare compliance requirements and regulatory trends.

Responsibilities

• Establish peer-to-peer and science-based relationships with KOLs and healthcare decision makers.
• Deliver fair, balanced, and credible medical and scientific presentations.
• Support company-sponsored and investigator-initiated research.
• Participate in conferences and meetings as a scientific expert on the Company’s behalf.
• Train faculty on scientific content for the speaker’s bureau.
