Job summary

Northwestern Medicine's Surgical Services is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse in the OR for full-time, all shifts. The RN will circulate and scrub across multiple service lines in a high-volume academic medical center.

You will operate in a state-of-the-art facility, participate in weekend and holiday staffing, and pursue CNOR certification with employer support; benefits include tuition reimbursement and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• CNOR certification is expected after two years of OR experience.
• Ability to circulate and scrub across diverse surgical cases.
• Strong communication and teamwork within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide OR nursing care for surgical patients, circulating and scrubbing as assigned.
• Rotate onto weekends and holiday shifts per OR scheduling.
• Take call with a 30-minute response time; minimum 60 hours every six weeks.
