Job summary

Erias Ventures seeks engineers to join a growing, technically strong team. You will design, develop, and test software across Windows and Unix environments, building GUIs for custom applications and adapting to evolving requirements in an agile setting.

The role requires a Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph clearance and a strong background in computer science or related engineering disciplines. Education and experience levels are defined in detail in the description.

Description

Responsible for the preparation, review, revision, and maintenance of technical documents including software and systems engineering, system operations, testing, and user documentation of CNO tools and capabilities.

• Lead a team to design, develop, and test application software to fulfill unique requirements on Windows, Unix, or other specified platforms,
• Build applications using a specified programming language per the Government,
• Build graphical user interfaces (GUIs) for custom applications, and
• Respond to evolving requirements in an agile environment.

Clearance

A current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.

Experience

Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., computer science, information systems, and network engineering) from an accredited college or university. In lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree, an additional four (4) years of relevant programming experience in the field may be substituted for a total of 16 years. 12 years of relevant programming experience in the field (e.g., computer science, information systems, and network engineering). A Master’s degree in a relevant discipline may be substituted for two (2) years of experience, reducing the requirement to 10 years of relevant experience. A PhD in a relevant discipline may be substituted for four (4) years of experience, reducing the requirement to eight (8) years of relevant experience.

Required skills:

• Experience with Assembly, C, C++, Java, Perl, or Python
• Experiencedeveloping Windows applications using Visual Studio or .NET environments; UNIX applications using make files or comparable build environments; or, Embedded or mobile platform development using proprietary, GOTS, or open source build environments
• Experience in the design and development ofend-to-end data flow and tasking for CNO tools developed
• Ability to develop in Unix and/or Windows low-level internals (e.g., OS runtime linker/loader, object file formats (e.g., PE, COFF, ELF), file system internals (e.g., NTFS, ext2, btrfs), OS-specific mandatory and discretionary access control mechanisms, and process and thread APIs and data structures)
