Erias Ventures seeks a Senior Embedded Software Engineer skilled in C, C++, and Linux to contribute to mission-critical projects. The role involves embedded development, vulnerability analysis, reverse engineering, and Python-based testing, with strong emphasis on security and reliability.

Qualifications

• Six or more years in software system analysis, design, development, integration or testing.
• Four or more years of software development with C, C/C++, or similar languages.
• Experience with VM, ESXi/OpenStack/Open vSwitch/QEMU in virtual environments.
• Embedded development experience on Linux/Unix/Android/VxWorks.
• Experience with reverse engineering and debugging tools.
• Familiarity with assembly languages and low level systems concepts.
• TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required; BA or BS degree.

Description

Support numerous challenging, mission-critical projects that make a direct impact on the nation’s security and intelligence mission. Perform embedded development, vulnerability analysis, reverse engineering, software development, and operational support to solve many of the country’s toughest problems. Apply expertise in C/C++ development, reverse engineering, x86 Assembly, and automated unit testing in Python to develop capabilities, research existing functionality, perform protocol analysis, and learn new technologies quickly. Provide support throughout the development life cycle to the test team

Requirements

A current Top-Secret/SCI with FS polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.

• Six (6) or more years of Software System Requirements Analysis, Design, Development, Integration, and/or Testing
• Four (4) or more years of Software development experience using C, C/C++, or other proprietary languages
• Configuration, administration, and development experience with Virtual Environments (VMWare/ESXi, Open Stack, Open vSwitch, QEMU)
• Development experience on embedded platforms (Linux, Unix, Android, VxWorks)
• Experience with Software Reverse Engineering and/or debugging tools, such as IDAPro, OllyDbg, gdb, etc.
• Familiarity with assembly languages (development or reversing)
• Knowledge of low level, systems programming concepts
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
• BA or BS degree
