Job summary

TJ Consulting Group is seeking a Level 1 CNO Reverse Engineer at Fort Meade to reverse engineer hardware, software and operating systems for CNO tool development. You will document results, build prototypes, and deliver hands-on demonstrations while contributing technical presentations on projects.

Requirements include programming in multiple languages, use of reverse engineering tools, and a strong background in computer science or network engineering with two years of reverse engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS, IS, or network engineering with related experience.
• Two years of hardware or software reverse engineering experience required.
• Strong programming skills in multiple languages and assembly.
• Experience documenting technical work and delivering briefings.

Responsibilities

• Perform reverse engineering of hardware components, software and OS to assess function and design.
• Document findings, deliver reports, proofs-of-concept, prototypes and hands-on demos.
• Author and present technical briefings on assigned projects.

Salary: $170,000 - $185,000

Position Description

Perform reverse engineering of hardware components, software applications and operating systems to determine functionality, code structure, and circuit design for use in the design and development of CNO tools and techniques. Document and deliver reports, proof-of-concept code, prototypes and hands‑on demonstrations. Author and participate in technical presentations on assigned projects.

The Level 1 CNO Reverse Engineer shall possess the following capabilities:

• Program in Assembly, C, C#, C++, Java, Perl, or Python.
• Administer and use hardware and software reverse engineering tools.
• Program using CNO tools and techniques.
• Use software version control tools (e.g., Subversion and CVS).
• Create and brief technical presentations. Bachelor's degree and experience must be in computer science, information systems, or network engineering. Two years of experience must be in either hardware or software reverse engineering.
