Job summary
The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Boise facility seeks a Registered Nurse IV for the Chief Nursing Informatics Officer (CNIO) role.
The CNIO provides informatics leadership across services, advising the Medical Center Director and executive team to optimize patient care delivery using health information technology and data analytics. A Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) and four years of professional nursing experience, including leadership and informatics, are required.
Qualifications
- English language proficiency is required.
- Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) and 4 years of professional nursing experience; one of which is specialized nursing experience equivalent to Nurse III.
Responsibilities
- Informatics Leadership & Advisory: advises the Medical Center Director and executive leadership on health informatics and IT.
- Establishes informatics leadership at the facility level to address health information issues affecting care delivery.
- Direct supervision of informatics staff and oversight of Informatics Service.
- Drives change management and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to improve outcomes.
