Job summary

Certarus is seeking a Compression Technician based in Midland, TX, to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on our CNG compression assets while traveling regionally.

You will troubleshoot electrical, PLC, and instrumentation issues, assist with commissioning and inspections, and maintain CMMS records and spare parts inventory.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years field service gas compressor experience, knowledge of Waukesha VGF or Ariel systems, and English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of field service gas compressor experience.
• Experience with Waukesha VGF and Ariel systems is a plus.
• Proficient with MS 365 and basic maintenance software.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on CNG compression equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, instrumentation, and pneumatic systems.
• Commission and start-up new compression assets and service inspections.
• Maintain CMMS records and spare parts inventory.
• Prepare maintenance reports and analyze trends.
