Job summary

Freedom is seeking an experienced CNG Technician to perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on CNG compression equipment and related systems. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, experience with natural gas compression systems, and the ability to work safely and independently, including travel as required.

The role includes participation in an on-call rotation and travel to support customer needs, with a focus on safety and quality documentation in field

Qualifications

• Experience with compressor maintenance and natural gas compression systems.
• Experience troubleshooting emergency shutdown (ESD) systems.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read OEM/O&M manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on compressors and CNG equipment.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair CNG compression equipment and related systems.
• Respond to on-call rotations and travel to customer sites as required.
• Complete service documentation accurately and on time.
