Job summary

Young Automotive Group’s Truck and Trailer location in Kaysville, Utah seeks a CNG Certified Diesel Technician to diagnose, repair and maintain heavy-duty trucks and CNG fuel systems. You’ll work with a knowledgeable team to ensure safe, efficient operation while growing your technical skills.

Qualifications

• Experience as a diesel or heavy-duty technician.
• Basic knowledge of diesel engines and vehicle systems.
• ASE certification preferred but not required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel trucks and trailers.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections.
• Use diagnostic tools to identify and fix issues.
• Complete repairs safely and efficiently.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Work with the service team to provide quality repairs.

We are actively hiring a CNG Certified Diesel Technician at our Young Truck and Trailer location in Kaysville, Utah! If you’re an experienced diesel technician with CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) training or certification, this is a great opportunity to join a high-performing, well-equipped service team!

In this role, you’ll diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty trucks and CNG fuel systems. You’ll work with a knowledgeable team to ensure vehicles operate safely and efficiently while continuing to grow your technical skills.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair diesel trucks and trailers
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections
• Repair and maintain engines, brakes, electrical systems, and other vehicle components
• Use diagnostic tools to identify and fix vehicle issues
• Complete repairs safely and efficiently
• Keep the work area clean and organized
• Work with the service team to provide quality repairs and service

Qualifications:

• Previous diesel or heavy-duty technician experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of diesel engines and vehicle systems
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues
• Ability to use basic tools and diagnostic equipment
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work well in a team and fast-paced environment
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• ASE certification is preferred, but not required
• Ability to pass a background check
