Job summary

Munters is seeking a Wire Saw and Sand Operator in Amesbury, MA. You will operate a large sander and CNC wire saw to cut media according to the production schedule and verify parts meet blueprint specs.

Maintain a neat work area, perform quality checks, and report any issues. Must read prints, use calipers and other measuring tools, follow safety policies, and be willing to cross-train in other wheel plant areas. Strong communication and attention to detail are essential.

• Must be able to read and understand prints.
• Ability to use calipers and other measuring devices.
• Some computer skills required.
• Strong communications/interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented and driven.
• Willingness to cross-train in other areas within the Wheel Plant

Responsibilities

• Operate a large sander and CNC wire saw to cut media per production schedule.
• Verify media is within spec and perform quality checks.
• Maintain area, equipment, and tools; report issues to supervisor.
• Follow safety, housekeeping, and all policies.
