Job summary

Munters is seeking a Wire/Saw Operator in Amesbury, MA to operate a CNC wire saw and a large sander for various media sectors. You will verify parts are within specification against blueprints and perform quality checks before moving to the next process.

The role requires reading prints, using calipers, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace with attention to detail. Training may be provided for cross-functional areas in the Wheel Plant.

Qualifications

• Must read and understand prints from blueprints.
• Ability to use calipers and other measuring devices.
• Some computer skills are required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented and able to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate a large sander and CNC wire saw per production schedule.
• Verify media is within spec using blueprints and perform quality checks.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and tools.
• Report problems to supervisor and follow safety rules.
• Conduct safety inspections on cranes at shift start and perform other duties as assigned.
