Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking a skilled CNC Water Jet Operator in North Las Vegas / Las Vegas area. Load materials, run water jet equipment, read blueprints, and perform quality checks in a fast-paced shop with competitive pay.

Responsibilities include setting offsets, deburring, inspecting parts, and coordinating with management and production staff to meet daily goals. The role requires associates-level education and prior CNC or water jet experience.

Qualifications

• Must be able to load/unload material and parts and prove programs.
• Ability to read shop drawings, schematics and blueprints.
• Familiar with inventory tracking and RF scanners; basic warehouse safety knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload material and parts; prove programs; operate controls; set offsets; deburr and inspect parts for conformance.
• Study drawings, manuals, specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances; sequence of operations and setup requirements.
• Ensure production rates are met or exceeded.
• Detect and report machine malfunctions; adjust as needed to maintain quality.

• Prior CNC operating or water jet cutting experience
• Ability to read shop drawings, schematics, and blue prints
• Familiarity with inventory tracking, RF scanners, and basic warehouse safety protocols

Responsibilities

• Responsible for loading and unloading material and parts, proving programs, operating controls, setting offsets, deburring, and inspection of quality parts for conformance to requirements on a water jet.
• Studies and interprets drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished products, sequence of operations and set up of requirements.
• Ensures production rates are met or exceeded.
• Detects equipment malfunctions or out of tolerance machining and adjusts machine, within capabilities, controls or control media as required to ensure quality of productions. Reports all machine malfunctions to management.
• Communicates with management, production control, quality, and other shop personnel for assignments and to resolve machining or quality issues.
