Qualifications

• Machining experience is a must.
• Experience as a machine operator in a production environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Setting up and operating CNC vertical mills.
• Detail oriented and possess strong time management skills.
• Produce quality parts.
• Load parts manually.
• Verifies dimensions with micrometers, gauges, calipers and indicators.
• Studies and interprets drawings, manuals and specifications for dimensions and tolerances.
• Detects equipment malfunctions and adjusts machines to maintain part quality.
• Reports machine malfunctions to supervisor.
• Communicates with supervisor, engineers and shop staff to resolve issues.
