Job summary

Watteredge LLC in Avon Lake, OH is seeking a dependable CNC Vaski Operator to join our second-shift manufacturing team. If you have CNC or machine operation experience, you will contribute to producing quality parts and maintaining a safe, organized work area.

You will set up and operate CNC Vaski equipment, read blueprints, select tooling and programs, load materials, monitor runs, perform basic troubleshooting, and document outcomes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of CNC, Vaski, or manufacturing machine operation experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and manufacturing documentation.
• Mechanical aptitude with basic troubleshooting skills.
• Experience using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC Vaski equipment.
• Read and follow blueprints, engineering drawings, work instructions, and job travelers.
• Load and position materials for production.
• Select appropriate machine settings, tooling, and programs for each job.
• Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed.
• Inspect completed parts to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.
• Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and measuring tapes.
• Troubleshoot basic machine, tooling, and production issues.
• Complete production documentation accurately.
• Perform routine machine checks and basic preventive maintenance.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Work with Production, Quality, and Engineering to resolve manufacturing issues.
