Job summary

Rusco Manufacturing is seeking a CNC Programmer to translate blueprints into Mazatrol or G-code programs. You will set up fixtures, load tools, and configure offsets to ensure first-piece parts meet GD&T specifications.

Ideally you have 3–5 years in a production environment, a solid grasp of GD&T, and experience with Mazak lathes, Mazatrol CAM, Mastercam, and live tooling. This on-site role offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED.
3–5 years of experience in a production manufacturing environment.
Hands-on with 2-, 3-, and 4-axis CNC lathes; live tooling and Y-axis knowledge.
Proficient in CNC programming, G-code, M-code, and production setups.
Comfortable with PLC troubleshooting and PLC programming.
Experience on Mazak CNC lathes; exposure to CNC Swiss welcomed.
Strong grasp of GD&T and measurement practices.

Responsibilities

Program at the machine in Mazatrol or G-code from blueprints.
Install fixtures, load tools, set tool registers and offsets, and configure machine control settings.
Run first-piece samples and verify dimensions against GD&T and prints.
Monitor the process, spot malfunctions early, and adjust feeds, speeds, and toolpaths to keep parts in spec.
