Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking an experienced CNC programmer for Mazak lathes. You will program from blueprints, load fixtures, set offsets, and optimize toolpaths to ensure parts meet GD&T specs and prints.

You'll use Mazatrol and Mastercam/Mazatrol CAM with 2-, 3-, and 4-axis lathes, while collaborating with manufacturing to maintain quality and throughput. This hands-on role offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 3–5 years of experience in a production manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Hands‑on with 2-, 3-, and 4-axis CNC lathes; live tooling and Y-axis knowledge is a big plus.
• Proficient in CNC programming, G-code, M-code, and production setups.
• Comfortable with PLC troubleshooting and PLC programming.
• Experience on Mazak CNC lathes; exposure to CNC Swiss welcomed.
• Strong grasp of GD&T and measurement practices.

Responsibilities

• Program at the machine in Mazatrol or G-code straight from blueprints.
• Install fixtures, load tools, set tool registers and offsets, and configure machine control settings.
• Run first-piece samples and verify dimensions, tolerances, and surface finish against GD&T and prints.
• Watch the process closely—spot malfunctions early and adjust feeds, speeds, and toolpaths to keep parts in spec.

What you bring
