Premier Aerospace Group NY, LLC is seeking a CNC Turning Programmer/Setter to join our precision shop in New York. You will program and set up CNC lathes and manual machines from prints and written instructions to produce to-spec parts with tight tolerances.

• Hands-on programming and setup of CNC machines from prints and instructions.
• Interpret blueprints and specifications to create efficient setups.
• Proven track record holding tight tolerances in metal turning.
• Experience machining a variety of materials.
• Proficiency with micrometers, bore gauges and precision metrology.

Responsibilities

• Kick off with a print review and job plan; select tooling and set workholding.
• Program CNC lathes from print requirements and instructions.
• Prove out programs and dial in offsets to hold tight tolerances.
• Run parts on CNC and manual machines; document results and data.

Shape precision from raw stock — join us as a CNC Turning Programmer/SetterStep into a fast-paced shop where your skill at the lathe turns complex prints into flawless metal components. You’ll run both CNC lathes and manual machines, programming and setting up from drawings and written instructions to deliver to-spec parts, every time.
