Job summary

100Hires, Inc. is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our Houston production team. In this role you will set up and operate CNC turning centers, use live tooling, validate offsets, and perform first article inspections to ensure parts meet tight tolerances.

You’ll monitor tool wear, adjust feeds and speeds for efficiency, read engineering prints, and collaborate across shifts to optimize programs and production flow, while maintaining a safe, clean workspace.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; machining trade school or technical certification preferred.
Experience as CNC machinist (turning) or similar precision manufacturing role.
Fluent reading of engineering prints and blueprints; strong measurement skills.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC turning equipment to manufacture parts to specification.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to plan setups.
Monitor machine operations for quality, accuracy, and throughput.
Troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance on CNC machinery.
Collaborate with teammates to optimize programs, tooling, and production flow.
Document production data and report any discrepancies.
