Job summary

You will inspect parts with micrometers and calipers, collaborate with your teammates to troubleshoot issues, perform routine maintenance, and safely handle materials using the overhead crane as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; machining-related education or certification preferred.
• Hands-on experience as a CNC lathe machinist or closely related role.
• Solid understanding of CNC programming concepts and machine operation.
• Experience operating an overhead crane.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Skilled with precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers.
• Exceptional attention to detail and dedication to high-quality workmanship.

Day in the LifeAt our state-of-the-art Dover, OH 44622 facility, you will begin your shift by reviewing prints and work orders, staging tooling, and setting up a CNC lathe for the day’s runs. You dial in offsets, verify tooling, and load programs. As parts come off the machine, you check critical dimensions using micrometers and calipers, making fine adjustments to keep everything within tolerance.
