Job summary
Kelly Services is seeking a CNC Turning Machinist for 1st and 3rd shifts in Aurora, OH. The role involves setting up and operating CNC turning machines, reading blueprints, and ensuring quality and safety in a precision manufacturing environment.
The candidate will work with GD&T, G&M codes, tool offsets, and must be comfortable using Fanuc or Siemens controls. This is a permanent, full-time position with full benefits and shift differential on the 3rd shift.
Qualifications
- Experience reading blueprints and GD&T.
- Familiarity with G&M codes and CNC programs.
- Experience with setup of CNC turning equipment is preferred.
- Comfortable interpreting specifications and performing tool offset calculations.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC turning equipment.
- Review blueprints and process requirements.
- Read GD&T and technical drawings.
- Download and edit CNC programs as needed.
- Work with G&M codes, tool offsets, and calculate dimensions.
- Operate Fanuc or Siemens CNC controls.
- Select appropriate turning tooling and monitor processes.
- Perform quality checks and document inspection results.
