Hydrasearch, a proud affiliate of The Dixon Group, seeks a Tube Bender in Stevensville, MD to program, set up, and operate CNC bending machines. You will ensure precise bends, maintain tooling records, and collaborate with production and QA to meet project specs.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in tube bending programming for CNC machines.
• Proficiency with BendPro, VTube, SolidWorks or similar CAD/CAM software.
• Ability to read blueprints and exact bend specifications.
• Strong problem-solving, attention to detail and communication skills.
• Technical school certificate preferred; CNC machinist background preferred.
• Knowledge of rotary draw bending; mandrel/roll bending a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create, modify and optimize CNC programs for tube bending machines.
• Set up and operate CNC benders, auto-blanking saws and finishing tools.
• Ensure bends meet quality specs; adjust machines or programs as needed.
• Maintain records of programs, tooling setups and bend instructions.
• Perform preventative maintenance on bending equipment.
• Collaborate with production, design and QA to meet specs and timelines.
