Job summary

Hydrasearch is seeking a Tube Bender in Stevensville, MD to program, set up, and operate CNC tube bending equipment. The role emphasizes precision, teamwork, and continuous improvement in a stable environment. Strong candidate will have 3–5 years in CNC tube bending and CAD/CAM experience.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent is required.
3–5 years of experience in tube bending programming with CNC tube bending machines.
Proficiency in BendPro, VTube, SolidWorks or other CAD/CAM software.
Strong ability to read blueprints and technical drawings to verify bend specs.
Excellent troubleshooting, attention to detail, and communication skills.
Technical school training is preferred; CNC machinist background is a plus.
Familiarity with rotary draw bending, mandrel/roll bending is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs for tube bending machines to ensure efficient production.
Set up and operate tube bending machinery, including CNC Benders, auto-blanking saws, and finishing tools.
Ensure bends meet strict quality specs through inspections and adjustments.
Identify and resolve issues with bending processes and equipment malfunctions.
Maintain accurate records of programs, tooling setups, and bend instructions.
Perform regular preventative maintenance on tube bending equipment.
Collaborate with production, design and QA to meet project specs and timelines.
