At Oberg Industries, we're looking for an experienced manufacturing professional who is passionate about CNC machining, blueprint reading, precision measurement, and developing future talent to be our CNC Training Supervisor for our apprentices. Whether you've built your career on the shop floor, in manufacturing leadership, or in technical training, if you enjoy sharing your knowledge and mentoring others, this is an opportunity to help shape the future of manufacturing.

  • Train apprentices on the proper use of precision inspection equipment including:
    • Micrometers
    • Calipers
    • Indicators
    • Height gages
    • Other metrology equipment
  • Develop apprentices through a combination of classroom instruction and hands-on shop training.
  • Help apprentices apply blueprint interpretation and measurement techniques to real manufacturing projects.
  • Coach apprentices on safe work practices, quality standards, accountability, and professional work habits.
  • Supervise apprentices during their initial training and provide regular performance feedback.
  • Partner with production supervisors, engineers, machinists, and grinders to ensure apprentices are prepared for production environments.
  • Continuously improve training materials, curriculum, and apprentice development processes.
  • Support recruiting efforts by participating in career fairs and apprenticeship outreach activities.
  • Provide leadership and supervision for apprenticeship staff while supporting hiring, performance management, and employee development.
  • This position will be a daylight position, working Monday through Friday.
What We're Looking For:
