Job summary

Sandvik Coromant is seeking an Applications Specialist for the Utah region. The role focuses on delivering technical support and maximizing customer productivity through the full Coromant product and service offering.

Residents of the Salt Lake City area will build strong customer relationships, consult on CNC machining and tooling applications, and collaborate with internal teams to provide total customer solutions. Travel is approximately 10%.

Qualifications

• Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience with CNC machining, CAD/CAM, and cutting tools.
• Proven success in solving technical applications in a shop environment.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel (~10% overnight)

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Deliver customer productivity and cost savings by utilizing the full Coromant product and service offering.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver total customer solutions.
• Use technical expertise to consult on CNC machining and tooling applications.
• Maintain and optimize the sales pipeline using CRM tools to ensure accurate tracking, forecasting, and follow-up on customer engagements.
