Job summary

Sandvik Coromant in Utah is seeking an Application Specialist for the Utah region to provide technical support in the Salt Lake City area and to build strong customer relationships. You will use CNC machining, CAD/CAM, and cutting tools knowledge to help customers improve productivity and reduce costs.

Join a global leader in tooling solutions, collaborate with internal teams to deliver total customer solutions, and manage the sales pipeline via CRM tools, with travel about 10% to meet customers

Qualifications

Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field, or 10+ years of shop experience.
Hands-on CNC machining, CAD/CAM, and cutting tools experience.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel ~10% overnight.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
Deliver productivity and cost savings via Coromant products and services.
Identify new business opportunities and grow market share.
Collaborate with internal teams to deliver total customer solutions.
Consult on CNC machining and tooling applications.
Maintain and optimize the sales pipeline using CRM with accurate tracking.
