Job summary

HireGenics is actively seeking a skilled CNC Machinist in Peachtree Corners, GA for first shift. The role involves toolmaking, prototyping, and operating CNC mills and EDMs, with a focus on quality and efficiency. Pay is $23/hour, with comprehensive benefits.

The candidate will use CAD/CAM tools, read blueprints, and coordinate with team members to ensure on-time production. Prior experience with multiple CNC machines and tooling processes is required.

Qualifications

• 2-year vocational training plus 5+ years in related tool & prototype making.
• Experience with Amada Coma Turret punch press, Amada break press, Hurco, Mitsubishi EDM.
• Minimum 3 years programming 3- and 5-axis CNC machines (CAM or G-code).
• Proficient in CAD/CAM tools and fixture/prototype/mold building basics.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day Tool & Prototype Making operations per specs.
• Use sketches, blueprints and models to plan tool fabrication.
• Verify dimensions with gauges, calipers, micrometers.
• Assemble tools and dies; repair gauges, jigs and dies.
• Design templates and jigs for fabrication workflows.
• Troubleshoot and repair tooling during production.
• Interface with customers and vendors to resolve issues.
