Job summary

Knight Enterprises Management, L.L.C. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Toolmaker & Set-Up Technician to operate CNC mills/lathes, fabricate tooling, and ensure production parts meet exacting specifications.

The role requires three years of CNC experience, blueprint reading, GD&T knowledge, and familiarity with tooling, speeds/feeds, and G/M codes; Solidworks experience is a plus. Precision and safety are essential.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years minimum experience with CNC mills and/or lathes.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and GD&T.
• Knowledge of tooling, speeds and feeds, offsets, and minor program changes.

Responsibilities

• Set up CNC machines for production runs.
• Check dimensions and visual inspection of parts.
• Ensure first articles pass QA.
• Fabricate production tooling and fixturing as designed.
• Maintain tight tolerance requirements in set up.
• Record cycle times and tool life for records.
• Communicate with Engineering when non-conformances occur.
• Assist in machining adjustments and operational improvements.
