Job summary

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Tool and Die making.
• Minimum high school diploma or GED; vocational or apprenticeship preferred.
• Proficiency with CAD/CAM tools and processes.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints or work from instructions.
• Produce dies, fixtures, jigs, and tooling for surgical instrumentation.
• Set up and operate CNC machines and manual mills/lathes/grinders as needed.
• Inspect fixtures and tooling to print; document results per procedures.
• Troubleshoot and repair fixturing; perform preventative maintenance.
• Train and assist Toolmakers and Apprentices; maintain safe work area.
