Job summary

Triumph in Macomb, MI is seeking a Mill Tool Crib Attendant to join our site in Macomb, Michigan. The role focuses on setting up tooling for CNC milling machines, maintaining tool lists in MX, and performing daily maintenance and cycle counts to ensure tooling readiness.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma and 2–5 years of CNC mill setup experience, with knowledge of Fanuc controls and blueprints.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-5 years' experience with set-up and operation of CNC Mill
• Knowledgeable of set-up requirements and operation of a horizontal and vertical CNC milling equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, setup documents, and CAD drawings.
• Familiar with Fanuc controls and lean manufacturing concepts
• Must have computer experience to create, operate and maintain computerized information
• Good verbal communication and willingness to perform extra work
• Strong knowledge of cutting tools, holders, and components.

Responsibilities

• Set up machine tools such as end mills, drills, and taps for CNC milling machines.
• Build and set tools per tool lists.
• Use Speroni presetting machine to check and set tools.
• Set tool heads per instruction.
• Verify all tools and tool kits are complete and serviceable before issued or returned to location.
• Perform daily PM checks on tool setting equipment.
• Disassemble tooling and manage tool lists in MX.
• Tool setter operations: print tool lists, adjust tool lists.
• Maintain tool lists and tool data in MX and Excel.
• Receive orders in MX and morning deliveries.
• Add new tooling to MX and cabinets when identified or ordered.
• Review tooling sheets for new adds/item demand.
• Document all kitted tooling in Excel and generate labels.
• Conduct cycle counts weekly.
• General housekeeping and other duties as assigned.
