Job summary

Geater Machining & Manufacturing, Co is seeking a Tool Crib Attendant to issue, preset and inspect tools, and manage records of tools and equipment used and returned. You will also order tooling and maintain accurate inventories to support efficient production.

The role emphasizes accuracy, tool knowledge, and collaboration with production teams in a manufacturing environment. Exceptional organizational skills and fluency in English are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specs, safety rules, and operating instructions.
• Strong mathematical and measurement ability.

Responsibilities

• Issue and store hand tools, machine tools, dies, materials and equipment.
• Allocate and prepare tools for each job and work center.
• Maintain records of issued and returned tools and equipment.
• Prepare periodic or perpetual inventory of tools and equipment.
• Inspect tools/equipment for defects and wear; measure as needed.
• Initiate purchase orders for replacements/repair items.
• Use GOLD for accurate work instructions and coordinate with vendors.
