Qualifications

• At least 3 yrs experience programming/operating 3-axis or higher CNC milling centers.
• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent; 2-yr technical degree and/or apprenticeship strongly preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and CAD/CAM software; GD&T and G-code knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Program cutting paths using CAM software and CAD geometry.
• Develop electrode geometry from solid models.
• Operate CNC machinery to tight tolerances and maintain CAD geometry ±0.0001".
• Assist in CNC work center scheduling and maintenance.
• Coordinate spare parts and tooling purchases to keep equipment operational.
• Instruct and mentor Toolroom apprentices.
