Job summary

Qualifications

• Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Understand GD&T and apply it to part inspection.
• Write and modify G-code and M-code CNC programs.
• Measure tight tolerances with calipers, micrometers, and CMMs.
• Identify and fix machine performance issues.
• Design tooling to hold parts and improve efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand and translate drawings into CNC programs.
• Develop and optimize G-code/M-code for 3-axis mills and lathes.
• Train operators on CNC machines and programs.
• Maintain inspection records and verify part conformance.
• Collaborate with engineers to improve tooling and processes.
• Support tooling life-cycle studies and waste reduction.
