Job summary

Hydro Extrusions is seeking a CNC Technician for night shift at the Fabrication Center in Phoenix to set up and maintain manufacturing lines for fabricated aluminum products. You will run parts and edit programs via GCode.

The role requires at least two years of CNC experience, close tolerance work, and ability to program/edit at the machine; Mastercam experience is a plus. This is a permanent, on-site position with a rotating 12-hour night schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years' experience in CNC machining.
• Close tolerance expertise (.002).
• Edit programs at machine via GCode.
• Some programming experience in Mastercam.
• Tooling replacements.

Responsibilities

• Studies production schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of job assignment.
• Responsible to storage in good condition the tooling related to CNC process as well as to have the inventory of it.
• Responsible to keep a good inventory of spare parts required for the CNC Process.
• Must be able to produce both turned and machined parts to customer specifications, in order to do this, a programmer/tech must have knowledge of tooling (fixtures, vises, or other work holding devices, etc.) Must have knowledge of cutting tools (end mills, drills, taps, reamers, etc.)
• Layout and write programs for prototypes and samples for machining and turning centers with short response times. Set-up all machines in shop.

This is a night shift position from 6pm- 6am on a rotating schedule
