Job summary

Tri-Mack Plastics in Bristol, RI seeks a CNC Team Leader (1st Shift) to support a skilled team and maximize productivity while maintaining ISO 9001/AS9100 quality. You will monitor operators and guide quality checks to keep processes flowing efficiently.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 3+ years of CNC supervisory experience, strong GD&T and blueprint interpretation, and familiarity with ERP tools such as Infor Visual Manufacturing.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience in a CNC manufacturing setting.
• Leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
• Experience with ERP systems beneficial; Infor Visual Manufacturing a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a manufacturing environment; strong blueprint interpretation and GD&T knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Monitor/coach team members to ensure quality systems and ISO requirements are followed.
• Check parts for quality throughout shift and ensure documentation is completed.
• Ensure operators use documented inspection methods and record results.
• Alert management to problems with quality processes, equipment, materials, or labor.
• Proficient in inspection techniques (blueprint interpretation, micrometers, calipers, optical comparators, laser micrometers).
• Tend to team members to keep processes running and flow parts to completion.
• Assist with scheduling based on Velocity Board priorities and run plans.
• Coach on Velocity Board usage and batch labor ticket procedures.
• Facilitate troubleshooting and evaluate workflow; request help as needed.
• Motivate the team and maintain an orderly and safe work area.
• Ensure safety, report unsafe conditions, and adhere to AS9100/work instructions.
