Job summary

Pelco Solutions in Edmond, OK seeks a CNCTeam Lead for the Production department. The role leads a team, delegates work, and manages CNC milling and lathe operations with a strong emphasis on process efficiency and safety.

You will program and maintain CNC processes, train operators, and collaborate with other departments to drive continuous improvement while meeting customer demands. Strong Plex ERP knowledge and Lean practices are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• CNC Programming Certification from vocational/technical program.
• 1–2 years of experience in CNC programming, setup and operations; or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Ability to read, understand and train others on basic machine operation, drawings and work instructions.
• Ability to organize departmental work assignments and multi-task.
• Above average computer skills are necessary.
• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Distribute assigned work or jobs within the department.
• Oversee/Direct department employees and activities.
• Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality at the work location.
• Advanced knowledge of Plex ERP to ensure accurate system information and reporting.
• Resolve production or employee issues within the areas of responsibility.
• Support Lean Manufacturing/5S and safety policies.
• Recommend improvements related to layout, manpower, equipment, or materials usage for continuous improvement.
• Train machine operators on CNC operations from entry to advanced levels.
• Program and maintain CNC programming for milling machines and lathes.
