Key Performance Indicators

• Perform duties associated with set-up and operation of a CNC machine
• Strictly adhere to company safety policies and procedures
• Perform quality control checks with measuring instruments (e.g., caliper, micrometer, height gauge, etc.)
• Perform necessary side operations during machine cycle time as required
• Compare numerical data displays with specifications on operation sheets
• Examine cut parts for defects such as machine edge and surface scratching
• Maintain accurate parts count and labeling
• Perform inspections using calibrated measuring devices to match parts against prints
• Perform any other related duties as assigned

Qualifications/Experience

• 2 years of machining in a metal manufacturing environment
• 2+ years experience operating and troubleshooting Swiss Style CNC screw machines such as Citizen, Star, Tsugami
• Experience setting up or editing a CNC Swiss machine
• Knowledge of G and M codes; CAD CAM software experience is desirable
• Ability to work from prints
• Microscope experience is a plus for small parts
• Experience in organizing and managing staff
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Maintain a neat personal appearance
• Work evenings, days, and weekends as required
