Rampart Products seeks an experienced CNC Swiss Machinist to join our Houston, TX team. You will perform full set-ups, operate and optimize Swiss-type lathes in a low-volume, high-mix environment for rugged interconnect components.

Your role requires reading blueprints with GD&T, tool knowledge, and meticulous measurement to ensure quality. This shift offers strong growth, with comprehensive benefits and on-site work in Houston.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience as machinist on CNC lathes in a low volume, high mix environment.
• Experience with swiss-type and multi-axis CNC lathes (twin spindle).
• Knowledge of cutting tools, metal properties, and lathe operations.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, GD&T specifications.

Responsabilités

• Complete full set-ups, operate, and adjust CNC swiss-type lathes for low volume, high mix production.
• Knowledge of cutting tools, feeds and speeds, and tool life optimization.
• Interpret and work from blueprints, GD&T specifications, and work instructions.
• Perform precision measurements using micrometers, calipers, and gauges to ensure part quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues to maintain efficiency.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety protocols.
