Coldspring is seeking a CNC Mill Operator to set up and run Omag stone mills. You will load programs, prepare beds, align and secure stones, and monitor operations for quality. The role includes weekend shifts with overtime as needed and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Eligible weekend staff receive a $4.50 shift differential and a hiring bonus structure upon successful pre-employment requirements. Forklift certification is required or provided after hire.

Qualifications

• Previous CNC machine tool operation and experience.
• Must obtain forklift certification (training and certification provided).
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent problem solving and time management skills.

Responsabilités

• Set up, operate and maintain the Omag stone mills.
• Use cranes to load and unload work from the machine.
• Load programs from the network.
• Prepare mill bed with brackets and risers.
• Level and align stone to axis on the mill bed.
• Secure stone with clamps, wedges, and spacers.
• Review program sheet with the stone and production ticket.
• Jog mill using touch-off block and dial indicator to set origin.
• Assemble and disassemble mill tools as needed.
• Monitor machine operation and quality, measure stone.
